OK,it has to do with break in timing and current. I bought a bunch of regular style Hopkins 2uF and 1uF and some Aerovox 1.5uF from him. There is always the Russian caps too for larger values. ::: TOP .......

Since you mentioned reversing polarity. Reversing the polarity on power cords to CD Players and Preamps can yield similar results. If it helps it is immediately apparent due to the sound improvement. .......

I have used integrated T-Class amps without and with separate preamps. I suggest you try it both ways. Just turn the T-amp down and use it's volume to get your preamps volume control in the best range .......
