Thanks for your comment Chip. You would think plastic would be inferior but I have heard some really good comments on how the 3's sound although I do realize this was likely more of a cost saving meas .......

I guess I came accross some wrong information. In some previous postings regarding the 747 there was mention that the sensitivity figure was the target figure for a new tube. If that is not the case t .......

I have not heard the other step-ups that you have mentioned but I recently picked up the Bent Audio TX103's and am using with a Shelter 901 cartridge and Trumpet phono. In my system the combination so .......

Upgraded power cords make a huge difference in sound in my system. Early on I was skeptical as well but if your system has the proper resolution it is very noticable. Nice looking phono stage by the w .......

I had a used SFT1 transport that I had in my system for 3 years and I never had a problem with it. It is built like a tank. Even though they are not being made anymore Anthem/SF is still doing service .......
