Yes. My biggest hesitation is I do not have a amp at the moment to make use of the 30-day trial and I'm hesitant to invest into the Minis because it sounds like anyone that has gave them a try needed .......

A great sub for music and movie use that is VERY affordable is HSU's stf-2. I have used it in more than one system, (not dealer just a audio junkie that has helped friends buy and install their system .......

The new Intel Mac Mini. We use one with our Sony Wega 42". The Mac sees the Sony as a big monitor. Fed to its HDMI input with a DVI to HDMI cable from the Mac. Looks wonderful and sounds fantastic. :: .......

I think this answer rapidy becomes a combination of your own room and amplifier. However, in our home the MMGs sounded squashed anytime we had them 2 feet or less from the back wall. They sounded best .......

The manual to the new MMG W shows an option of using the two of them wired in series as a center channel on each side of a plasma on the wall. Maybe this is an option for you, and the pair are only $3 .......

If you were blown away by the 1.6s I would say buy the 12s over the MMGs. The 12s are cut from the same cloth as the 1.6s - extremely close in sound. As a previous MMG owner I would say the 12s sound .......

I think the Pass would drive the MMGs wonderfully, and the VTF-2 mates vey nicely with the MMGs. If you buy a used VTF-2 look for the later version it offered a lower crossover point than the original .......

When we had MMGs we used an HSU VTF-2. We found the down firing and low crossover allowed it to blend well and not be located easily. The talk about REL is the only sub for Maggies is simply personal .......

We have an MGCC2 just over 3 months old. Out of the box it was thin sounding. That only lasted around two weeks. I let it go past me since our MMGs took about 2 months to get loosend up. The MGCC2 has .......

It's been too long ago, but I believe the big difference was that the SMG did not offer a QR tweeter. .......

My understanding is that all models are mirror images and that Magnepan will clearly say they have a left and right speaker. With the MMGs installed according to the Magnepan manual then the tweeters .......

I mated the HSU VTF-2 with our MMGs. It was a very nice fit. Oh, and by the way, you went from 1.6s to MMGs. Why didn't you go to MG12s with only a 3x3" difference in size from the MMGs. They also loo .......

Very realistic cost. Good value for investment. Modular, can grow or shrink. VERY strong, VERY heavy, allen head bolts, at all legs. Very nice cable management. Spikes or non-spikes, your choice, all .......

We have MMGs and will be moving to MG12s. I know this is a dumb question, but I have been unable to clairfy this by looking at picutures on the web and I have not seen or heard the MG12. I must admit .......
