Graz, ear fatigue like I've never experienced, even with H20 Signature. Mine have 1/4 ohm bass ribbon but only 1 ohm plate. I've seen old Apogee forum posts that at least some of these versions were m .......

I have 1 or 4 Ohm Apogee Scintillas currently wired for 1 ohm. I'm experiencing serious fatigue like I've never experienced before (also currently own Maggie MG-3A, Wilson Watt Puppy 5.1, Thiel CS-2.3 .......

I have 2 pairs of MG-IIIa. One doesn't have the tweeter attenuation option and has lower serial numbers (063513), the other does have the attenuation option but no resistors installed (serial 06 .......

Edited: it turns out this was just a pic of the crossover and it wasn't connected. Everything was well designed and built and they sound much better than stock!! I'm going to look at these modded 3 .......

Thanks for all the feedback and advice! After lots of listening and experimenting with speaker placement, I've given up. I have gone back to my 802 S2's and they just sound so much better. I can liste .......

Thanks for the info. Most of these vintage Infinities are so rare, I'll probably end up looking at other options. I also have a fear that buying a pair without on-site inspection and listening just op .......

Noway, yes, they are currently biwired. When I first got them, the original factory jumpers were still installed in the crossover. I'm very lucky to have read the owner's manual online before I hooked .......

Hi Jonesy, Thanks for the response. Good thinking- yes, the 801's tweeter/head are 4" lower. Since my ceiling is only about 7' high, I thought that would actually dully the mids and highs a bit. Maybe .......
