Morey, thanks for steering me in the right direction and correcting me on my usage. Looks like the Kappa 15 is the way to go for stock upgrade without expanding the slot. I will continue to research .......

About more bass. I am not an engineer or super audio guy. I just want good bass cabs. I look at this design, the woofer especially, and I see moderate efficiency woofer. So where is the high efficienc .......

That's the plan. Run them stock then try just the stock woofer with the Edgarhorn. Maybe try the 515s with the 3in slot. I am a but surprised no one has tried this. Thanks for the consideration. BTW .......

Tom, The Edgarhorn mechanical x-over is around 800hz. My biggest fear is that the lower mid will not be to my liking. I guess that is the issue with a folded horn What about sensitivity? Stock LS is 1 .......

You have a similar set up to my existing setup I want bass horns. The LA scalas seem like a decent option .......

My fear is that I will not like the upper bass of the LA scala. I won't know until I try. I don't want more bass, just better bass over the octaves it covers .......

Not using anything but bass cabs. I have mids and tweeters. I am n I t into 12db xovers. I would use three way with 6db xovers. Again, I would only use th bass cabs. .......

The smaller transformer is KS 8876. There is also a choke KS 8572. There is also 3-43 on the HV and smaller trans and 5-43 on the choke (Dates??) The exact name on the label is Acme Electric & Mfg Co. .......
