Would probably be about 2k for table/arm/cart and another 2k for receiver or integrated and tuner and 1k for speakers? So maybe 5k all in max, and of course less is better. Space wise, lets say around .......

in how natural it sounds. It doesn't sound like fireworks per se but it really sounds real. There's a relaxed quality to it that you get with real music and the detail and tonality is great. Awesome c .......

My Scale I believe it's accurate to .05 grams and seems to be about the thickness of a 180 gm lp. It's the same one you see at Music Direct I believe for $165. Works really well. .......

I've used the Ortofon Jubilee on my VPI Scoutmaster for a little over a year now. It was a nice improvement over my Dynavector Karat D17 MKII. I haven't heard the others you list but I can say I would .......

Move the band down, (i.e. to the larger diameters), to make it run faster, up makes it go slower. Also, IIRC the middle indentation is 33 1/3 I think. .......

I have my Jubilee at 100 ohms. I tried a bunch of different settings from about 50 to 1000 ohms and 100 was the nicest blend of mid-range warmth/solidity and high frequency airiness without being brig .......

My experience is/was as follows... I had/have a Scoutmaster and was using a Dynavector P-75 with a Karat 17D2 MkII. The combo was great except I was after a little better bass and a smidge more warmth .......

It's a great integrated which I've had for around 10 months now. Sounds much more powerful than the 30w would indicate. Excellent bass, great balanced sound. Very solid well built amp, nice looking as .......

I too have a Dynavector 17D2 MkII and a P-75 and I wouldn't call the gian ridiculous. I find the gain is slightly less than line level for my CD player or tuner. Ample gain but I do need to bump it up .......

I ordered a Gold Furu Flavour 4 power cable for my Plinius 9200 integrated amp and the results are exactly as you predicted over my Van Den Hul Mainstream. A much more "punchy" sound. Definitely more .......

as and upgrade for my Scout. I basically gave my dealer back the Scout and he gave me a brand new ScoutMaster. Anyway, the motor was rectangular, (thank God because that round peg in square hole thing .......

I picked up a scout in July and added a P-75 and DV Karat 17D2 shortly thereafter. Very nice. I've since gone to the ScoutMaster but certainly not because I was unhappy with the Scout. I'm just hopele .......

It stopped reading CD's. Sent it back to Lennbook for a short 2 1/2 month, (insert sarcasm here), repair cycle and it's good as new, really better I guess. It was frustrating to lose it for 2 1/2 mont .......

I replaced a Rega Planet 2000 with the 8260 and prefer the Marantz for CD, (better detail and soundstage layering in my system without sounding bright at all), and really love it for SACD. Admittedly .......
