Most of the records are 180-gm pressings so they are more expensive. Along with renewed interest in vinyl at London Drugs, they are also starting to bring in better quality audio gear, including Klip .......

If it was shipped by courier, the courier company charges a (sometimes outrageous) customs brokerage fee. It is not duty. It is a service charge for bringing it across the border for you and clearing .......

You're talking about a demagnetizer. It does not clean your tapeheads. I have one and it effectively demagnetizes the tapehead. You still have to go back and clean the heads and capspan. A little isop .......

I tape an entire LP to reel to reel tape. The reel to reel tape outs go to in inputs of the soundcard on the PC. On the PC, I use either Rec-2-All or Jetaudio. Record tracks one at a time to WAV files .......

I think you should send it to Plurison to get it fixed anyways. YBA uses some custom parts. Even the sandfilled fuse on my Integre DT produced a noticeable difference compared to Radio Shack fuses or .......

Definitely wall mount. Shelf bolted (or screwed) into wooden studs. I used 2 1/4" length screws. If your TT is suspended, hopefully, the suspension should absorb any of the subway or ambient vibration .......

I sold one a couple of years back. The 2B would probably be out of warranty now but you could probably get it upgraded by Bryston for a reasonable price. I sold it for about $600CDN. a few years ago. .......

I've had good experience from M&K also, though it was 3 years ago. My out of warranty VX-7 subwoofer connectors broke and there was no way to replace them. I brought the unit in to their local distrib .......

Actually, in Canada, it does add up to Piracy. There is a royalty tax on every blank recording media sold. That means I'm paying royalty to somebody but not getting any goods. I'm in the IT industry .......

I have a Grado Prestige silver on an Ariston RD-80 TT. The hum is only noticeable after the tonearm hits the runoff groove at the end of the record. So it is not an issue while listening to music for .......

Good choice. I noticed the SP1/2s have an 8" woofer to the SP100's 6.5" woofer. You might gain a bit more bass to the sound. The SP100 has a second woofer/midrange while the SP1/2 employs a midrange .......

Also be aware that there are some dealers out there who mark up the price above list and then discount giving you the impression you are getting a good deal. I usually make sure I know the list price .......
