This DAC is a little gem, but if you can afford an intensive modding it could became a real killer. Former problem is that this DAC needs a discrete time to burn in, it's plentiful of discrete compone .......

Hi which sound card driver are you using? Note that cplay needs 32bit ASIO only. If you are using foobar too you can open foobar' setting, open the window for setting ASIO and select 32 bit from here .......

Shure! A picoPSU 160 XT feeded by a little linear PSU Belleson Superregulator based. It's a bit tricky, just a bit, but improvement are greater than bother. Your mobo must get a power consuption lower .......

Yes you can, but 2G unit needs more electric power consuption ( aka more rumors=more jitter), so SQ could be less than using a 1G unit. Everything is important in a cMP2 system if you want reach the b .......

In my Asus Essence I've tried NewclassD and Belleson regulators Belleson are widely better, IMHO. I dislike battery , unpredictable beahviour and no certeinty about state of charge too. .......

Hi Eunegis your problem, IMHO, is the very very poor driver support By Cantatis' manifacture. Asio4all is not bit-perfect too, so I think it will be impossible for you to reach a good result ( good SQ .......

I cannot agree with ideological positions about a supposed "pure cmp2". Just for example, I don't use a Zalman 160 xt but a 501, I don't need a touchscreen because my transport is so far from my chair .......

I don't agree with you bibo 01. With Foobar's settings you'll can find the option for 32 bit, so this release must be true 32 bit. The problem is that cplay can't see, or can't find, this asio driver. .......
