Manny, Thiel 03a's were my first entry into more discerning speakers. Early 1980's. After 10 years I retired them. Then after 10 more years I unboxed them to lend to a relative. I found both surrounds .......

I also bought a Belles Model One and the 'matching' preamp, in 1982 or '83, following the recommendation of Ed Smith at 21st Century Audio. They were my first separates and I was pretty excited about .......

I purchased Thiel 03a speakers in 1981 or there abouts. Connected them to Dave Belles' first preamp and amp and blew three tweeters in short order. At each instance I called Thiel and spoke to Kathy. .......

magicsam, I enjoyed the LP12 and Alphason HR-100S combination for very many years. I then bought an Oyaide tonearm cable and was delighted with the improvement. This cable is available with a 90 degre .......

In 1978 I bought a B&O 2404 turntable. It came standard with their least expensive cartridge, which retailed for $20. A month later I replaced it with their most expensive cartridge, a $200 MMC 20CL e .......

I've used a Red Dawn interconnect for eight years. I find it a "bright, tipped up wire", particularly in comparison with my Supra EFF-I and a Chord Anthem I borrowed from a friend. .......
