Take it home and try it out, can't hurt unless it's over budget for you, if so, don't torture yourself and waste your dealer's time. You may be surprised at how good the ARC CD3 is, i've always though .......

I have a Zojirushi induction rice cooker that is running for up to 5 days at a time keeping the rice perfect(best rice cooker ever, if you are into rice). It is quite a smaller scale than your cooktop .......

I just replaced my Blue Heavens with Baldur, don't waste your time with the Red Dawn. The Baldur sounds much better then BH or RD. The Baldurs are not bass shy, are extremely well balanced and fleshed .......

I wouldn't say it was intended as a direct replacement, but all of the new line of cables from Baldur to Tyr are supposed to be better than even the discontinued Valkyra(Nordost's next best to Valhall .......

All of their vinyl sounds better than the cds. Unless it's a bootleg. The UK pressings sound even better. Wish somebody would do a good quality 180gra re-mastered release. Never gonna happen. ::: TOPI .......

There is no comparison, the ARC is much more detailed, refined and musical with all types of music while remaining the most non-fatiguing cd player I have heard except for maybe the top of the line Le .......

The Mahis are much better than the stingray and much less $ than the snappers, you may be surprised! You can't run balanced from the shrimp into the snappers anyways and the mahis give a range of adju .......

Any of the Quad L series, great sound, great finishes, in budget, just pick the one appropriate for your room size...... They sound incredible with tubes, cocktails and radiohead; ) .......

Get the Gallo Bass Amp to drive the second voice coil(this will take the bass down to 22hz according to their website, how much lower do you need) of your Ref 3's and you could probably get rid of you .......

I agree Audi's stock stereo's sound horrible, my biggest pet peave about their cars. They can put Monsoons in VW and Bermeister in the new Bugatti but they stick Bose as a high-end option in Audi, I c .......

I would probably go with an Antique Sound Lab 1003 if you want to stay on the budget side, the si-15 may be a little weak. The Av-20's are good for the price but don't have anywhere near the refinemen .......

I think you would have to spend quite a bit more money to achieve the price performance ratio of the S-5. When I built one I remember it being mentioned that strapping the S-5 for mono was overly simp .......

I built a pair of Moondogs with no prior experience in soldering or kit building, no outside help and no problems. Do get a good soldering iron as it makes life much easier. The DRD's at first glance .......

I would look into the new Aluminum Series-Schonbergs by Vienna Acoustics. I think you will be pleasantly surprised, it is the only speaker I have heard that sounds good close to the wall and does both .......

It is most likely your B+ fuse. If you take the bottom plate off of your amp(after disconnecting everything) you will see a fuse holder inside, check the fuse, if it is blown that is the problem, repl .......

Should be fine, of course, try it first if possible. I heard them with an Audio Note 300b amp and they did great in a room about 15x18, even with high volume at times. .......

I would go with an Antique Sound Lab AQ-1003(about $800 new)used even less, it is a 30 watt PP EL-34 based integrated amp that I personally liked better than the Jolida build quality and sound wise. F .......

I agree with sgerin(below), if you are really worried about microphonics pick up some of the raved about Herbie's Hal-o's and use those. I was and you will be amazed at the difference. .......

The SP-16 replaces the LS-16, it has every feature you asked for except for being tubed which in this piece should not be a bad thing, service or maintenance wise, is $1995msrp and sounds much better .......

Great pre for the price!!! Just don't run excessively long interconnects with it. I just put one of the Herbie's Hal-o's 1/4+" interconnect dampeners (only one that would fit) on the 6111 tube and it .......

Have had both on my Quad 989's and the 909 was much more neutral and engaging, the HCA-2 while sounding good was slightly bloated on the bottom and did not involve me in the music at all. YMMV good lu .......

The one with the 2.5v heater is designed as a 2a3 substitute. I doubt you could use it in a "normal" 300B amp. I am trying to figure out if the 2.5v version is within safe parameters for an unmodified .......

The 300b "2.5v heater" version is designed as a 2a3 replacement. From a reply to another post I gather they draw more power (still don't know if it is enough to have to mod my moondogs.) "If your 2a3 .......
