HI, I'm suffering from radio frquencies using balanced interconnects between my CD player and power amps. The cables are 9m long and double shielded but still I get to hear whats on the radio! Surely .......

The transformer is in my phono pre amp. Its part of a complete project that works and sounds pretty good but it does eat rectifier valves. The output from the transformer is definately high though and .......

Theres nowt wrong with my Supex! Its just that as I understand it my RB300 is quite a heavy arm (and seems to work well with the Supex), whilst the Acespace that is on its way to me is a lighter arm a .......

Excellent. Im looking forward to the attenuator turning up. Its of an unknown quality, being an ebay bargain from the far east but it was only cheap and is based on the DACT model with Vishay resistor .......

Hi, Im not sure of the output impedance of the valve phono. It is a DIY unit (Liteaudio LS37). The valves are 2 x 12ax7 for the MC and again for the MM. (Therefore using 4 x 12ax7 in total if running .......

Indeed there is. Its the Liteaudio LS37. I've built one using stuffed boards and now want to build one with better components to hear what difference it makes. The original version sounds pretty good, .......

I got some of this type of putty from expert stylus when they rebuilt my troika. Seems to work just fine. Expert do seem to be very knowledgable and so I am happy to use this putty as reccommended. :: .......

Surely it depends on the type of source you use. A turntable should take a good amount of a system budget due to the expense of engineering tolerances, but a cd player is surely easier to manufacture .......

I think it depends on the isolation system that your tt already uses. Suspended subchassis tts like LP12, pink triangle, thorens etc need a light yet rigid support ( apparently if such decks are on an .......

The original musical fidelity amps were great, I had until a couple of years ago a pair of ma50s that really were good, just not enough power so they had to go, still good though, maybe a pair of sens .......

I got my free protractor by sending of a SAE to an adress I got from enjoythemusic.com, beware though as the centre spindle hole was a little offset (easy to remedy). This really helped in setting up .......
