not possible. Even the lowest PCI specs specify 33MHzx32bits, or just over 1Gbps. Theoretical max for 1394b(the new one only one macs) is only 800Mbps. There are also all sorts of problems in communic .......

Yes I hadn't thought about Behringer, but I've used their mixers happily, and a UB-802 is going to feed the speakers. Event looks like it makes a nice product, but the powered 20/20's are closer to $8 .......

so any suggestions between the two brands, or ideas as to the difference between the two NADs. I tend toward NADs in general for brand loyalty and design issues, and can get the 571 for about the same .......

That would follow with the Radiola, Philco and other 1930s radios in the same room. Why the high impedence of the speaker? Does it have something to do with the fact that it looks like the radio's do .......

I don't have the speaker with me, but I'm pretty sure it had a perminent magnet. The label definately said: "impedence: 1500 ohms", with no other adj to decsribe whose impedence. aaron .......

So I'm in the process of cleaning out the radio room of a friends fathers house. Amoung some 400 tubes, some RCA prototypes, there was a 15" MAgnavox speaker with a label impedence of 1500 ohms. What/ .......

I've found a pair of Peerless speakers(not drivers) and I'm trying to find out more about them. they consist of a 5" woofer and 1" tweeter, in a surprising large box, with a single cap over the tweete .......

So whoever bought the Dynaco name has come out with a strange little HT integrated amp, lists $199. It seems to be promising, especially as a HT only addition to a good 2 channel system. Not terriably .......

It's better if you use the lead bricks, keeps the radiation leakage down! Just be careful to turn off programs that provide internet services that you don't need and keep email attachments at arms-le .......
