The Eminent Technology speakers suffered from poor music choices. I suggested other music Saturday Morning which they decided to change to, and the ET speakers really began to sing. Both of the Claris .......

I had someone from Italy post pictures of similar speakers from Fisher called the SP 15B. Is there a paper on the back of the speakers describing them. The EV have a good size paper. .......

I don't believe it is a passive radiator. The wires connecting the two woofers in my cabinets look to be age appropriate and similar to the other wires in the cabinet. To me it looks as though the rig .......

I will initially be taking an empirical approach. I will refoam the drivers, put them back in hooking them up like they were and run a few freq scans on them using REW. If the bass is not real loud or .......

I have no doubt fiberglass has good acoustic properties. I just hate touching the stuff. I used it in attics, and always end up itching like crazy for a day or two. .......

Before I removed the woofer I had already ordered the new surrounds from Simply Speakers. So I will be repairing the RS drivers. Whoever replaced the woofers also stuffed the cabinet with pink fibergl .......

As you point out one approach would be to reverse engineer the best drivers for the enclosure. For someone who does not have the experience of being able to weed out inappropriate drivers by just look .......

I did buy the Maggies. In my room they test pretty flat down to about 60 hz. I currently have them combined with my OB woofers which I have tuned to about 3db down at 25hz. The Maggies are running .......

Interestingly enough I do not hear the "missing" highs. additionally these drivers in this configuration do not exhibit audible beaming. The lack of beaming may also be because of placement and liste .......

As I had posted in a different thread, I am considering using Magnepan MMGs as a midwoofer to an Open Baffle speaker system I am putting together. I was discouraged from doing that as the tweeter sect .......
