Can't reply for Feanor, but in my experience the VTV makes bad recordings no worse than the A21, and in some cases better. Maybe because the VTV adds very little distortion to the distortion already t .......

Thanks for the interesting comments. Somewhere online there is a "name that sax" quiz in which the same passage is played on three different horns, one of which is a Mark VI - don't remember the other .......

Have read Rollin's statements that he plays a Mark VI. But ran across this video in which the octave key makes it look like he may be playing another horn. Or could it be an alteration to the regular .......
