nowdays you won't find "warm" sounding amps.The only one that springs to mind (without an oofensive treble) is the T&A E series powerplant. .......

Hi Adam i used to own one,ages ago,and if i remember well,the second pair of outputs,is not actually "filtered" but volume controlled.In plain English one output is a normal one and the second connect .......

Hello To answer your first question,yes.close enough.The only difference will be the "sound" of different body matterial,wood vs plastic,if it actually is plastic ! Koetsu wood is another name for Koe .......

Hi Robbie I'll give you a clue based on my experience with vdh cartridges but take this only as a quidance.you still need to experiment.vdh cartridges,not all though,work best at about 1.4 gr. ::: TOP .......

Hi robbie Both garth and fred are correct.I have a VDH mc-one and a black beauty and although recently i upgraded to a Koetsu,VDH can sound anything but murky or closed in.Check various setups (vta/vt .......

John,provided whoever setup your turntable/arm knows what he is doing i can think of only 2 possible explanations.Either you've got a loose suspension in your Shelter cartridge (because you dropped it .......
