If the 2 tubes are identical for internal construction features and external labelling with the aforementioned coding then it's high likely that they are relabelled tubes not made by Brimar. ::: TOPIC .......

The A phi's are E88CC/6922 tubes and the G phi's are E188CC/7308 tubes. Which one sounds best is subjective to the listener's ears. To my ears, the earliest revisions are the best with the rectangular .......

If you have a DVM handy measure the DC heater voltage coming from the B9A tube socket between pins 4 and 5 on your tube tester and report back the value. It should be in the range 6.3 volts +/- 5%. :: .......

Clean the tube pins with isopropyl alcohol and q-tips and try the tubes again. If that doesn't work then try 0000 grade steel wool on the pins and wipe the pins with the isopropyl alcohol afterwards. .......

It normally reads as upper-case "I" followed by subscript lower-case "a" and it gives the correct plate bias point in mA to achieve the correct power dissipation level of the power tube in operation. .......

The tubes you have are certainly out of the norm. Firstly, they are not Amperex tubes but Philips tubes made in Heerlen, Holland. Secondly, they have white labelling suggesting they were made by Mulla .......

If you have any other 6922/E88CC tubes with gold plated pins to compare against that would help. Examine the tubes closely from underneath to see if there are any signs indicating the pins are painted .......

Those gains you listed are only applicable to standard mode only. Gain cannot be worked out when the P-75 is in PE mode. I have a document listing what exactly happens from the designer with gain in P .......
