Thanks Kevin. I was hoping to not have to use the caps, but I am getting good sound out of the Jupiter Caps that I'm using right now so maybe it won't be so bad. So all I have to do is order a pair of .......

Kevin Can you suggest an output transformer for the passive output stage of a Lite Dac-Ah. It uses eight TDA1543's in parallel. I was considering using the RAKK dac output stage but Dave has mentioned .......

Kevin Will the passive output stage work on any DAC if we bypass the resistors for I/V conversion on the stage and just use the transformers for gain and DC cancelling? I would be using the resistors .......

Foobar works fine with Vista. I'm running it right now and doing Kernel Streaming to a Chaintech AV710. It sounds great and works without any hiccups. I use SRC to upsample in Foobar but all my other .......

The DIP was modded with upgraded caps and diodes, true 75ohm BNC Connectors, a Superclock 1 and the transit. The transit was powered via USB and mounted directly inside of the Upsampler. Its difficult .......

I had experience with the precursor to Steve's devices. I asked him to install a M-Audo Transit into Monarchy DIP Upsampler (which was also modded and had a superclock installed) around 6 months ago. .......

Steve at Empirical Audio installed a USB device into my Monarchy DIP upsampler. He can do this into almost any DAC as well. I suggest dropping hime a line. .......

I agree. I had an M-Audio Transit feeding Toslink to my Monarchy DIP Upsampler. The Monarchy made a significant improvement over the standard Transit. I sent both units in to Empirical audio for a cus .......

I'm considering an Isolation transformer for my system. My CDP says its has a .5A draw, my Integrated amp says 4a (50w RMS). I'm getting a DAC (VDA1 with VAC1) as well, but don't know what the draw is .......

I have an HTS-2000 and I have had great results. The othe day, however, I removed my Preamp from it and went directly to the wall. Things were different, but not necessarily worse. There was less bass .......

I have a pair of Monarchy SM-70's that I love. You might not get them for $500 the pair, but not much more than that. They aren't bad as a stereo amp either so you could buy one and get another later. .......

I had a single SM-70 and when I went to two, it did make a pretty big difference. Basically all of what you're looking for came through: better bass, better imaging and more transparent. I've also not .......

I've been considering nOrh Prism's but aren't sure which ones to buy. Are the 6.9's worth it over the 6.6/6.1? They use completely different drivers which makes me wonder how much different they sound .......
