Also take a listen to the Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo III. For 750 dollars, they were the most neutral, detailed, and lyrical speakers I found, much more so than Paradigm or Boston. .......

My feelings on Karajan are not definitively one way or another, with respect to his conducting ability. One of the best performances I've ever heard of Scheherazade was Karajan's mono recording on EMI .......

The problem may be the fact that the B speaker selector IS in fact selected. Try turning it off (or the A selector if your speakers are in the B terminals). .......

I will admit that I have been able to get along with N802's, when driven with CJ PV-14 pre, and one of CJ's solid state amplifiers, but they still haven't been my favorite speakers, especially in the .......

I'd look at stuff other than B&W before I made my final decision. Personally, though I know many disagree, I find them unbearably bright, especially with solid state equipment, with some of the music .......

I can't really listen at low volumes. Luckily, my speakers are 90db sensitivity, but I still really need to crank the 125w receiver up to get my phonos to play, even with the output on the back set to .......

At least on occasion it is possible to buy the 2Ce off of audiogon for about 500 or so. it's not the signature model, but would you go with the newer 1C over a slightly older 2C? .......

I just got an A60 for christmas. I'd definitely go with the A80 over the Coolpix. The Canon A series is practically the only digicam outside the Big-Money SLRs that actually allows you to manually adj .......

Absolutely beautiful recording, very high quality and a great orchestra. Unfortunately, I believe (unless it has been changed recently) they are only available in Japan, so it'll be an expensive trans .......

I've had good luck with Cala so far. The audio shop that I went to wasn't at all impressed with a telarc recording or two that I used to audition speakers, and furnished a much better Proprius recordi .......
