Their PMA series (e.g., the 730 and 777) from the late 70's/early 80's is tremendous - great quality, great sound, enough power to drive just about anything, and you can usually get a good example for .......

Looks like the hunting's been pretty good - I've been avoiding the gear shops and trying to stick to vinyl, but now I've got too many marginally-interesting $1 records *and* too many projects ::: TOPI .......

Never heard one for long stretches, though it had that Scott sound, and their smaller amps have a great reputation (which I *can* vouch for), but it's a mono amp, so you'd need two for stereo Strictly .......

All things considered, I'd try and fit the AT on the original mounting hole - there may not be enough clearance to adjust the cueing and/or VTA; if so, you're in essentially the same position wrt the .......

I've done two over the last 6-7 years, both with heavier plinths - the real trick is fitting an arm that you like that will allow for proper VTA, since the Bogen's platter is so low I've heard the 120 .......

You can try to replace the phase capacitor, but it probably won't change it - all the ones I had did that (2 XA, 1 XB), and they never had a problem (and still don't, according to the current owners) .......
