I do really like Maggies and tried 1.6's years ago. Lived with them for a while, but just did not have the room to get them far enough away from the wall to work properly. Remember I only have 13' of .......

Well that was a waste of time. Mounted the Rega shelf on 2 different walls and still had a feedback issue just as I did with the Target shelf. Tried the side wall which is further from the speakers, .......

Had an incident last spring with Audiogon member lovearc. This tool bought a Furman power conditioner from me, then once he had it, he started making outrageous claims. He said the box had cockroache .......

Yes Cardas sells parts, but the factory terminated cables will have the official Cardas heatshrink. You can always contact Cardas and have them verify if the cable you have was made by them. Todd's .......

I changed the input resistor for one of the inputs on my Foreplay III to get a usable volume on the attenuators. Checked it out and it sounded fine, but the other inputs needed done also. I didn't ha .......

Just completed my Foreplay III and once again it worked 1st time out the gate. It's late so I only played a few songs, but it sounds really great. That makes 5 for 5 (or 6 for 6 if you count the mono .......

Paul, That sounds like way too much trouble. I think It would probably be easier in this case to just mount the separate power supply for the remote somewhere then tap into the incoming 120V instead, .......

They all do that. The Scout & Scoutmaster I had with the 300 rpm motor always made a screech when starting. It's the belt slipping on the larger pulley. Todd's Audio links .......

Rick, Chorus or Fortes should be acceptable, a La Scala would not. My only concern with the Kilpsch line is the tonal balance. I've heard some of them be very honky in the mids with piercing highs. .......

The 1 step is a runny as stain but they want you to maintain a "wet edge: on your brush so you can't have it too dry either. It's hard to get it even, but without runs. And you're right, it stained d .......

I have both Golden Reference & Golden Presence (and formerly Neutral Reference) The Presence interconnect is quite close to the Reference, but with a touch less weight & soundstage width. Good choice .......

Hey Rich, If you need to hear while walking (like me) I use the Koss Porta Pro, or the KSC-75 if you don't like the headband. Both are cheap and good sounding. A little bass heavy, but I can live with .......

Well my problem has been fixed. And I feel really stupid. I had left the AC-Battery switch on the BAM box in the Battery position.....for a long time. Even though it's supposed to be slowly charging t .......

I did a little test today. I cleaned both sides of a record, the only difference was the pre-cleaner. I used the "First" on one side and "Super Deep" on the other side. Couldn't tell a difference as .......

Just remove the rear panel, unbolt the tweeter wires from the posts, and move them down to the woofer posts, and bolt them on. Don't cost a dime and it's the best sounding way to do it. Todd's Audio .......

Just want to let everyone know how pleased I was after visiting Holm Audio in Chicago this weekend. Great staff, willing to help, brought in several pairs of speakers and left me alone to listen until .......

Are you using the 12 or 9? I have heard others tell me the 12 sounds quicker and clearer than the 12. All I know is when I took the Oval 9 out and put the HT Pro 11 back in everything cleared up and o .......
