Further research...there is a tiny cap on the bottom of the motor supply at pops off quite easily. I did not want to venture into the motor as it could possibly be returned. But the cap is only a cove .......

One of the major advantages of the Orbe SE over the Gyro SE is the clamp that comes standard with the Orbe. The clamp locks the LP to the Orbe's heavy platter. It is a quite well constructed screwdown .......
