Headphones of some type are the way to go ... you may have to get a headphone amp. wireless headphones are an option. It would be maybe cheaper to go with an ipod. Consider in-ear monitors (e.g. Etymo .......

While the soundstage is wide, I can't say I notice much extension laterally. Yet, I am impressed that the soundstage appears extensive, especially with certain electronica when you hear sounds coming .......

First, Kharmas are not designed to be toed in. THe manual clearly says for them to sit straight ahead. I can't comment on 3.2's, but I own Midi grands (same tweeter and 7" midrange, but also has a 11 .......

That is the irony of the damn thing. Certain programs will easily allow you to rip the disc, yet certain people can't play the damn thing on either state of the art CD players, or on car stereos, cert .......

I just returned a second copy of Doves -- Some Cities (EMI Records Canda) as both Copy Control discs were corrupted and unable to play on my emmLabs CDSD/DCC2 without tons of pops/clicks and poor soun .......

Now that my dedicated audio room is 99% finished, I have come to realize that the entrance door is the weak link in providing the necessary sound isolation. You see the room sits up on the third floor .......

Unless that room is full of furniture or something, I wouldn't think that it is too small for that room size. I auditioned the VR4jr's in a smaller room, and didn't think there was a problem with bass .......

I don't think there is much risk once the metal is processed. Inhalation of fine and ultrafine Be dust can cause a serious lung disorder (Berylliosis) and this is mainly a concern for Be workers. I do .......

I agree, I recently auditioned the Avatars with the Hovland HP-100 pre and a SAR Labs mos 400 amp. We had just swapped out the Simaudio P-5. As much as I thought I liked the P-5, one Ryan Adams track .......
