Try to get a deal on a used Anthem AVM20. I use this pre & it has great frequency controls which is great for fine tuning maggies. It will probably be a few hundred over your $1000 budget, but that's .......

My 3.6 Maggies make a big improvement over the speakers in my Sony TV. It is funny that we audiophiles are sometimes astonished at the sound difference in a basic TV speaker and these amazing Maggies. .......

My sound card is a Terratec DMX 6fire 24/96 I have had very good results and the unit has both coax and toslink outputs. I think the unit is discontinued and would imagine even better units are now av .......

The 1.6s will perform great in a HT setup, but there is a difference when stepping up to the 3.6 line. Please don’t get me wrong (I love the 1.6), but the 3.6 is a big step up. Is the price difference .......

I use a REL Strata with my maggie 1.5 and they sound fantastic together. I had the Strata paired with 3.6 maggies and they also worked great together. The REL Strata is an easy match with maggies and .......

I bought a Mitsubishi 65" DLP for $11k a year and a half ago and love the picture. I would recommend the DLP technology to anyone looking at large screen sets & would now recommend the Samsung sets. .......

I have had my MGCC-3 for about three weeks & I can finally report my findings now that the break in has been completed. Overall this speaker matched very well to the 3.6 in my front & 1.5 in the rear .......
