Chinook output impedance is 50 ohms, the x250 lists 22 kohms balanced, but I am not using XLRs. I don't know how it would change for single ended operation. I have had my Scoutmaster for 5 years or so .......

The Chinook sounds terrible. Lifeless, dead, bloated and weak bass. In contrast, the JC-3 is very detailed, everything jumps out at you, strong, powerful and accurate bass. Both units are VERY quiet. .......

I did a little experimenting. I found that without the GFP, the sound was more focused, clearer and sharper than with the GFP plugged in. There was also less noise without the GFP. So, the GFP is out. .......

One more bit of advice, when you stop vacuuming, make sure the record is totally dry before playing or putting in the sleeve. Also, does anyone scrub or do you simply hold the brush on the record for .......
