Too many delusional Fan Boys present at these demos, that just want to brag they heard the 30.7s. Listening, standing up, and moving around, you can not judge the sound IMO. Maybe they will have a goo .......

The SP-10 eats tubes, and is unreliable! The sound quality is an over rated myth. Go for the SP-11 mk II. A much better choice IMO. .......

You are late to the game. And FYI I have years of engineering experience in product development. Magnepan should have had a fix earlier IMO. And it is stupid not to have BiAmp capabilities on the 30.7 .......

The mod should have been put in way before the many,many road show demos. Shows lack of thorough design on Magnepan's part. You just go bananas on the slightest criticism involving the 30.7. Chill out .......

I have heard this warmup period with all high resolution systems. Even longer with A/B amplifiers? Many other audiophiles report this same warmup period. Maybe you do not have a high resolution system .......

If my system is pure class A, and on 24/7, why does it take at least one hour of playback to get best sound without edgy high frequencies? Is the MC cartridge suspension changing, or phono stage small .......

I may have gotten a very low sale price. They were about $2500 US new in 2009. It was mint, but I stopped using the arm in 1998. I did not know what they sell for today. They are not worth the current .......

My opinion is the 3.6 has noticeable lower bass output than the 3.7 also! I am also leary of the "shrunk down" crossover. The 3.6 is my "end of life"Magnepan. .......

A 13 ft by 14 ft room is even too small for a 3 series Magnepan. Digital bass EQ messes up bass purity, and no amount of room treatment will fix your room IMO! I doubt you have 90% of the soundstaging .......

After my first LOMC (GAS Sleeping Beauty) in 1990, I gave up on MM, and never looked back with any regret. MM cartridges are for people stuck in the 60's and 70's IMO. .......

Why do many prefer MC to MM cartridges and CDs? Electrostatic headphones over dynamic? Ribbon tweeters that go to 40kHz over 1 inch dome tweeters? Supersonic frequency response is why. .......
