Hey Danny, I use Monster Power HTS2000 (one of there lower priced ones) and my solid state gear (left on all the time) has survived every power outage we've had here in So Cal over the past few years. .......

The primary difference between the "Planer 3" and the newer "P3" is the motor system. It made a big improvement in overall sound quality. The unsuspended Regas are geat tables for the money, just put .......

High efficiency speakers doesn't mean you have to use a low powered amp. Just means you have more choices and amplifier power is less important. Sounds like you don't care much for the idea of low pow .......

How true! I learned way back when I was 12 years old (early 70's). They tested mini-bikes, which were generally intended for kids to drive off road. They tested with a 160 pound adult in aparking lot. .......

You can use either KT-88 or EL-34 in the MG-SI15DT-S. Just rebias for whichever tube you are using*. I have tried both, and generally prefer the KT-88. The EL-34 will put out about 12 watts in that am .......
