Hello, Speakon connectors can have 2,4, or 8 contacts. If your speakers have 2 contacts, it should be easy enough to make cables with your choosen wire. Solder one conductor of the wire to each of th .......

Duster, I think your decision to leave well enough alone is a sound one ;) . There are practical limits to all of this, though I do continue to experiment with filters ( both AC and DC ) and other sys .......

In my experiance, AC filters can filter some of the noise on a line, but are not without some limitations. I do use filters, but still try to avoid plugging noisy devices ( answering machines, routers .......

I don't doubt that one bit, as I have experianced similar results. Houses are usually wired with the outlets "daisy chained" from one to the next, frequently with 6 or 7 outlets on the same circuit, .......

Hi Boodles, I was unable to find any information about your amp as far as current requirements, so it's difficult to make specific recommendations for a power supply other than it should be 12 volts .......

My first thought was similar to 13doW's, that moving the caps might have put a strain on one of the solder joints of those caps. If any of them look suspect, I would reflow the solder. I can't think .......
