I own the new SWLP 9.0SE with Bybee upgrade. You didn't mention it in your review - which I agree with by the way - but Dan's capacitors and the Bybees need hundreds of hours of break-in. I'm at the 4 .......

I have and use both. The quietlines are better close to the source of the problem i.e. refrigerators, dimmers, microwaves, etc. The harvesters seem to work best on the same line as my audio/video equi .......

Yup, try Nespa zapping the original CD for 60 seconds, copy it to a black CDR and then zap the black CDR for 120 seconds. You won't go back to just "normal" redbook CDs. Zapping SACDs for 120 seconds .......

I agree the older black Memorex seem to be better than the newer black Memorex. I don't know where they were made but the older ones feel more substantial and I can literally say I've had no write err .......

I wouldn't use it on the SHA-2. The 6922s will really like Tubewave in MWII. A P600 would be fine with the SHA-2 and basically any source. .......

You won't know what the other equipment is capable of until you give them a good, clean consistent power source and that is true even if you have dedicated lines. .......

Yes, I'm running the BC3000 direct from the wall. I tried the BC28 direct from the wall but the soundstage really opens up with a balanced supply - in my experience. Didn't know Gilbert does not recom .......

Try putting the speakers on a diagonal with the corner of the room and listen near field with a 6 feet triangle. This pretty much does away with standing waves and early reflections. I don't know the .......

I use the zeros with a tripath based solid state amp (Audiosource 6.2T very rare/hard to find amp) on a pair of Carver AL-III+ ribbon speakers. The zeros smooth everything out, open-up the soundstage .......

I think people who passed on the deal because the 963 might be "better", it doesn't compare to their $4,000 player, it might fail, the drawer is plastic, or it shouldn't take so long to break-in weren .......

In my system the 50 kHz setting sounds better on all types of material. I think its going to be system specific so trust your ears not mine. As to damaging your system, I'm sure Philips had a reason f .......

At $350 the SACD1000 is no doubt a bargain. At the $2,000 price point many respected reviewers and people on this board said the SACD1000 was an excellent player - I assume those opinions won't change .......

I've been interested in these amps (Class D, switching or digital) amps for a while now. Until recently I wouldn't have used them in an high-end system except for a home theater subwooofer application .......

I purchased a number of SACDs at MediaPlay for $17.99 including Chesky and Telarc. Thats lower than most places - MusicDirect for instance sells Telarc for $19.99. .......

I own this wire. The active shielding is no gimmick. In my system, the background became much "blacker" and the soundstage opened even further. Everything became more natural. I saw some posts stating .......

I would focus on the DACs. I would assume your outboard DAC has the best sounding DACs in it. Why else have an outboard DAC in the system? So DVD digital out to your DAC then digital out to your proce .......

John, I was amazed that you let Sam put the PS Audio amp directly into Class A without a full review. Especially since he stated it was a "...revolutionary product." Switching amplifiers have been aro .......
