I can't say about your amp, but I do use the CV378/GZ37 as rectifiers in Quicksilver 8417 monoblocks. They were designed for the 5AR4/GZ34 as well, but the GZ37 sounds great, no operational problems a .......

Sigmund -- the Blackburn Valvos are just Mullards rebranded Valvo. I agree with you completely about the Tungsrams and that Zeitmann is a completely reliable vendor. I have purchased quite a few tube .......

The Duncan Amps site places the 7733 in the category of similar, but different for the 12by7a. However, the application data and pinout are the same. Just wondering if they are equal substitutions. Pe .......

The color of the printing, I believe, is more indicative of the vintage or time frame of production rather than quality - unless something older is by definition better (not). White printing on RCA tu .......
