David, Congrats on the 125. I have had mine for over 30 years, and it still plays great. Just wish I could say the same for some of the old vinyl. I've got a bunch of the old Telarc and Crystal Clear .......

Got my Q Audio belt last week, and got my FM 21.2 belt today from Turntable Basics, and I did a lot of measuring, testing, etc. but NOT with any scientific instruments (don't have any!). Here's what I .......

OOPS! I'm all wet about shims to the springs. That would compress them more, causing stiff suspension again, because the upward movement of the floating chassis would still be limited by the bolts hol .......

Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond and, I hope, help! I have a TD125 MK-II, bought new in '73. The only maintenance it has needed (and gotten) is a new belt occasionally. Matter of fact, .......

Couldn't figure out how to post a followup to the subject thread, which has 3 posts already. Anyway, here are my 2 cents re: replacement belts. Did some research on the analogdept.com and diyaudio.com .......
