Actually no. RECORDING studios 90% of the time are using powered monitors, so they want hot sources. They also listen at very loud levels. MASTERING studios often use gear sold in the audiophile mark .......

At $700 the NuWave is a good buy. It was very well made and optional upsampling is a rare thing. I just never took to the sound...a lot like the MyTek..dry. .......

Ah, gotcha! Magicos are definately worth hearing. I never once heard the Q5 sound good but I really believe it was due to the partnering amps..Spectral, Soulution, etc. The S5 and S3, on the other ha .......

Perfectly understandable to protect their interests. My point is that at the end of the trial period they can easily produce a message that the trial is over, would you like your card charged? I can't .......

I downloaded Roon for Mac O/S and when I attempted to activate a 14 day trial it asked for a credit card which they were clear was going to be charged UNLESS I proactively cancelled. Deal Killer. None .......

I have posted here numerous times I use a Mac Mini as a NAS and library management station. I prefer MAC over Windows for most things. So you are off the mark. I noted MAC because that is what Lavorng .......
