Basically, the WCC is pretty good, but are not substitute for the real glass rectifiers. Some mentioned that they lack the tone and midrange body of the tube rectifier. Spike .......

The challenging impedance curve is the major reason one needs to be careful to pick a beefy tube amplifier like ARC VT100/200, Cary V12R or AES SixPacs. I'm sure there are other capable tube amps but .......

Instead of trying to accomodate for your hometheater processor at the amplifier, my suggestion is to look for a tubed preamp with a unity-gain bypass mode. There are a few of these preamps on the mark .......
