If you want to look at it in reverse, as you seem to be doing, you typically have a cap and sizable coil in series with most woofers. This contributes to not only series resistance, but also inductive .......

Digital signals are RF based. As such, vswr comes into play. Unless one knows the output impedance of the source and the input impedance of the load, one can't even go by the supposed nominal impedanc .......

The higher series resistance of the small gauge wire does NOT become part of the "output impedance" of the amp. It is part of the load that it sees. As such, it affects power transfer characteristics .......

On an XLR plug, Pin 3 = hot was the American standard for MANY, MANY years. Some 30 - 40 years later, Pin 2 = hot, which was a European standard, was accepted and mandated as being standard by the AES .......
