Thanks! The ones you saw on MUG are stands, but these are full frames that the MMGs mount into minus original side trim. They have a second 3/4" MDF frame behind the stock MMG top to floor, with a 3/4 .......

FWIW, I liked the improvement when I went with laminate core inductors with sligtly lower resistance. It gave lower piano notes more body and slam, without making the bass sound bloated. .......

I found that entirely removing the jumper and fuse out of the equation made things much cleaner and clearer. Not brighter, and perhaps less bright subjectively. Eventually I did install a high quality .......

I'd recommend looking into getting an inexpensive plate amp for the subs. Most plate amps are designed to operate into 4 ohms, so you might need to either run the subs in series (not ideal) for a 6 oh .......

It's a moot point on my system. I use a steep slope crossover at 80 hz between the MMGs and a pair of transmission line subwoofers. Best thing, IMO, would be to experiment and see how you like it. I .......

MMGs are certainly the best I've owned, and that includes some DIY projects using Dynaudio, Kef, and Vifa drivers, that would have retailed for several times the price of MMGs. .......

I'm using the power amp section out of one of these integrated amps to drive my MMGs. Of course, they are high passed at 80hz, 24/octave, so power requirements are reduced. .......

I built frames with 1X3 rails on the sides. The standard MMGs, minus the stock oak side rails, slip into the frame. I don't know if the panel on the bottom helps much, but according to all the rules .......
