Just buy the Grace Solo for $90. I was impressed with this simple device and decided to upgrade to a budget "audiophile" DAC and pre-amp. "Emotiva’s budget DAC runs out the door for US$399" I got one .......

What a newbee I am to this. I made my original quality estimates based on Calm Radio at 128k. Not bad sounding. So I started surfing. EVERY thing else was crap. And I saw nothing above 128k, and none .......

You are not going to wear out your vinyl with a good cartridge unless you put a horse-shoe on it. LISTEN to your favorite recording and add and subtract both weight and anti-skating. I run my KAB groo .......

As with any phono cartridge a certain amount of set-up experimentation is in order. One advantage of the Stanton is it is a straight plug in design and does not need to be aligned and all that. Still .......
