I found the problem with my amp. Schematic says use a .8 Ohm resistor in the 300B filament supply circuit CRC filter. It was shipped with .5 Ohm resistors. Bingo. I measured the voltages before and a .......

Paul, You're spot on. It's a stereo amp, and each 300B has it's own power supply circuit. Both measure in the 6V range. 6.3VAC windings -> full wave bridge > CRC with 0.8 Ohm Mills wirewounds. I'll me .......

No nav system, but a KILLER car. Great on gas, fun to drive, GREAT seats. Only Volvo tops SAAB for seats, IMHO. But Volvo powertrains just aren't as fun as SAABs. If that's too big of a car, try a 9-3 .......
