Does anyone have rough idea of where to set antiskate on a spacearm for an AT33PTG. Should the weight be roughly at the far end of the rod, at the end closer to the cartridge, or roughly in the middle .......

I've checked just about everything mentioned so far except for the armlift issue. The cartridge alignment looks good, there is not dust buildup on the stylus (I brush it after every side), and the car .......

A number of LP12 owners on the Naim and Pinkfish forums are fans of the Roksan Nima on their LP12s. A number replaced Ittoks with Nimas and felt it was a substantial upgrade. As for unipivots on LP12 .......

Between $300 and $1000, a used second hand Rega P25 might be a good choice. They run about $750 on audiogon without a cartridge. I have never listened to a Rega, but they are widely held in high regar .......

I have had good luck in NYC, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Ann Arbor and Nashville. Per capita, Ann Arbor is hard to beat. Lots of country and bluegrass in Nashville if you're into it. .......

Fred, the RD11s is sounding terrific. I have not relubed the bearing yet, but removing the damping has yielded significant improvement. I'll post about the results of the relube when I get to it later .......

Scraped all the putty off the underside of the plinth and removed the foam from the springs. Preliminary impression is a definite impprovement. The music is more lively. Bass seems more articulate and .......
