I also have a WTT Classic that had a low level hum, always thought it was the arm. I put a copper tape wrap around the square motor and ran a grounding wire from it to the phono pre ground screw. This .......

I agree with you on the merits of Solitone cables, having tried the Model 1 and X speaker cable and IC. I do use the Model X speaker cable and one X IC between amp and pre with Oritek X2 on all source .......

Yes, I have an Audio Mirror which I like very much with A Cal Audio Icon as transport. I will have to give Henry a call. Definitely give the Solitone cables a try, they do everything right with this a .......

Do you have any info on the Fire preamp? Is it for sale yet? Any info would be appreciated. You are correct about the H2O reacting with cables and components. I have recently aquired Solitone X series .......

Have you tried turning the anti-skate thumbwheel? It looks like it has too much anti-skate force applied. I have had this arm for twenty years with numerous cartridges and have never needed that much .......

I get a hum from my preamp on phono mode, it is grounded. I do not have a ground loop problem, I checked. The preamp hums when the volume is at 10 o'clock, I normally listen at 10 or 11. The preamp is .......

Thanks for the info. I have been taking ES Excedrin which contains 250mg of Acetaminophen per tablet for headaches. They seem to be the only medication that works for me including prescription meds. I .......

I use the SE 100's to drive Wilson 5.1s. They dip to about 2.5 ohms at around 90 hz. They have never run out of steam for me on 90+db classical and rock. Great midrange and sweet highs, the bass is go .......
