My old laptop is noisy, and I am happy to have it out of the audio equation. I shut it down for serious listening. I use the Node 2i with Tidal. I used to subscribe to Qobuz as well when we were locke .......

If the above advice didn't help (I had the same problem and it wasn't Chrome) - if you are using a password vault app / extension like LastPass, that may be the issue. Check your settings for the Asyl .......

The device in question does a full MQA unfold (like the Meridian) and when using Tidal you need to check Pass-through in the settings. I cannot imagine there is any way to stream it without a computer .......

I had a similar problem - the ground in the Rega cable wasn't doing its job. I took a small length of hookup wire and attached one end to the nut under the tonearm and the other to my pre-amp's ground .......

1. Yes; the Squeezebox does have its own DAC, although many people prefer to use an outboard one. Some claim better sound if the SB is connected with an ethernet cable, although I am using mine wirele .......

I just got an HD clock radio for the bedroom, because my local college station (WRTI, Temple University) broadcasts jazz from 6 AM to 6 PM on its alternate HD channel. It sounds great. I get MUCH bett .......

I used Discwasher for many years. It just doesn't get into the grooves well enough. Having played with MF brushes and DD brushes, as well as the new stiff Osage brush, the Discwasher has been semi-ret .......

I bought myself one of those cute digital tachometers. My Rega P25 runs at 33.7 RPM. So I got a rubber band off of tonight's asparagus, and that slowed it down to 33.2. Tried what looked like a thinne .......
