I'm speculating but I tend to believe that proper VTA will increase amplitude and thus this will be measurable on my mV meter. The range is 1mV max so it can go pretty darn low. Will have to test. If .......

You are correct. I only have a two channel stereo system. In this area the SA10 is much better than the Sony both on SACD as well as CD. THe SA 10 also plays FLAC and DSD files. .......

swapping out the plug seems easier said than done. The whole rear plate would need to go. Properly seated adapters with contact electrical paste should not degrade electrical contact at all. ::: TOPIC .......

I just installed a Koetsu Urushi Gold. All I got was a little wooden box. Truth is the cartridge is pure magic. Music Direct lists its recommended load at 30 Ohms. A review from Stereophile suggest 20 .......

I would recommend you check your ground cable. Also, consider if the cheaper table has shorte interconnects. Cable length on TT is a culprit to hums n noises. .......

I donīt recommend using long RCA cables because that caused the problem. The cable was not defective but the long run caused an impedance variation which sounds logical considering the low voltage MC .......

Well I changed my output RCA cables that were way to long and swapped in a 50cm pair. Less noise and the signal dis balance has changed noticeably for the good. Thanks to all for the support. ::: TOPI .......

I agree on the cables its usually go or no go. I am usinga moving coil cartridge but it could be damaged too. What is strange is that when I swap the cartridge cables. The bad channel is no longer the .......
