I upgraded from the 380 watt Rotel RB-1090 to the Simaudio W-5 at 190 watts per channel. The W-5 controls a speaker much better. Rag doll is exactly right. I get the impression the W-5 takes the speak .......

I think Classe exhibits less control of bass. Classe also sounds a bit soft in the midrange and at higher frequencies. (Classe reminds me of Levinson products in the bass area.) With hard to drive spe .......

I forget who reviewed the N800 but he was scheduled to review the N802 and was offered the N800 instead. He took the N800's. I can't blame him for that. I use the N802 so a review would be of passing .......

I used one with N802's for two years and power / current wasn't the reason I changed amps. It is a very good audio value. We all have different taste but I strongly suggest you hear the Krell KAV-250 .......

I used a pocket knife with a very "pointy" tip. Put the knife tip in the middle of the plug and popped them out. Didn't even touch the binding post. It did put a little dent in the plug but who cares. .......
