Yes, there is that masterworks but there is not first sonata in it. As vinyl phanatic says, it seems there is not english issue of this particular record. Strange gap! .......

I own the CFP reissue of the Kogan's Mendelssohn/Mozart and it's one of my favorite violin recordings. Also his Brahms concerto with Kondrashin on the concert classics label. Not as good as the CFP to .......

Yes, it has a rim on the bottom, but the belt falls anyway. It does not touch the base however. Thanks for your comments, we'll try to clean under-platter and belt. Not sure about motor regulation, if .......

99% of the records I get are used records. I agree with nobody: good brushes, good cleaning solution and good rinsing will leave you records clean without a rcm. I have never notice any improvement va .......

I've always got my LPs clean using the Disc Doctor brushes and Miracle cleaner. Without rcm, using the DD procedure: applying fluid and scrub with first brush, removing fluid with clean towel, .......

Yes, my copy is a bit noisy. Some mild surface noise in soft passages, a couple of "bumps" from pressing faults and two or three scatered ticks or pops. But... who cares? Great music on a great soundi .......

It seems "cold", but this works fine for me. It's easy to relate Kempff-DGG, Suk-Supraphon, Klemperer-Columbia or EMI, even when they recorded as well for other labels. Even in the case of Richter (Me .......

The Richter/Kagan readings can easily compete with the Haebler/Szeryng and the Haskil/Grumiaux. Their Beethoven recordings are vertiginous! They had a very special relationship and this is quite notic .......

These are two great song cycles. Janet Baker singing the Kindertotenlieder is great. Text is more than dramatic, it freezes your blood. But Baker doesn't sing this with an exagerated sense of sadne .......
