Besides sounding awful, the brass plates (if they are both in place) are subverting your intended biwire. Replace them with one short jumper either on the - to - or + to + side. Good Luck... ... Paul .......

It sounds like you are having a ground problem... You might try temporarily running a wire from your AVR ground to your source (outside of a RCA jack or RF jack would work ok) ground. Good Luck... .. .......

If the current wires are that carbon fiber material, all bets are off. If it is just standard silver or copper, you should be able to do it. If you do it yourself, you loose value and any safety ratin .......

and had only one failure out of about 800 monitors. The failure was due to a flying mouse. A user got mad at her PC and threw the mouse into the monitor. The monitors work well and have outlasted any .......

cables so that the bass cables do not influence the treble cables. Your plan would compromise that part of the advantage. ... Paul .......
