I didn't realize they were stamped at the same time. After work I'll get out a magnifying glass and check it out. The numbers were the same but there may be some slight difference that I didn't notice .......

I live in the S.F. bay arae and I have never heard of a record fair. Is this just a East coast type event or am I just not in the loop of where/when these fairs occur. Never even heard of such a thing .......

alignments complete. One thing about it though is in order for my needle to be able to follow the arc. The line couldn't be pointing at the pivot. It is in the general vicinity but not lined up.It doe .......

OK, I used a block and a 100th scale machinist rule.Luckily the center of the pivot point was pretty easily determined. I came up with 8.329in. which I believe is 211.5566mm. This is awesome. Thank y .......

I have a music hall mmf-7 with the stock project 9 tonearm and Goldring Eroica H cartridge. One thing I learned today that I am guilty of is that I have been aligning it to the cartridge body instead .......

This is one of the protractors I have. I guess the answer is that the printed protractor should work ok. A better protractor may not be the answer than. .......

Do you know if you have the 2w or 5w model? Does it have a dimmer? I see in there ad something about a dimmer. It seems dimmers have a tendancy to cause interference. .......

I spent some time working on the cart. alignment last night as well as moving the VTF around the recomended 1.75g mark. Although I did improve the overall sound. It did not do much for the paticular d .......

I think you may be right. I just remembered I did back off the VTF by a little over a 10th of a gram from the recommended setting. .......

My SME 3009 has a plastic knife edge bearing. I have seen for sale a bronze knife edge bearing. Is this a upgrade that is worthwhile? I can't see what it would do for the arm, assuming my plastic bear .......

My uncle gave me his Transcriptor tt that he bought in the late 60's. It is a hydraulic reference with a SME 3009 arm/Empire 1000ZE cart.on it. It pretty much needs all the rubber parts replaced and g .......

I think what is driving me to improve my turntable is an unknown. It is unknown to me how good or bad my current table sounds compared to how it could sound. Not many people that have this turntable h .......
