Typical bass reflex speakers have a saddle, or double peak, impedance curve around the woofer resonant frequency, reflecting the frequency of the tuned port. What is the effect of this on tube amps ( .......

Aside from the price advantage, does the Micro/sub combo have any significant sonic advantages over the Diva? .......

Thanks for the great reply. I am somewhat surprised, though, that you believe my amp would be sufficient. I had my doubts knowing the current demands of a lot of three-ways with severe impedance dips .......

BTW, the demo I heard of the Altos and Divas used a Meitner SACD front end with a DartZeel 108 100W/ch SS amp. I am using a Cary845 SEI at home (25 gutsy watts). JM Lab says 25W minimum, but do you th .......

Yeah, I intend to listen to the Diva's again, probably in my own room since I'm a bit fearful of overloading the 12.5 x 20 room with their low end. I would think that the Cremona's would pose less ris .......

Not familiar with it. Could you please briefly describe it and if there are any S. Calif dealers? Thanks. .......

Well, maybe the best compromise is to go for Cremona's and be done with it. I seem to be going around in circles trying to make a decision and not getting anywhere. I want my next speakers to be keepe .......

Thanks for the super detailed response. If I were to spring for the more expensive G, then I would have to also consider the Diva Be. Except for noticeably greater bass extension and believability on .......

OK, thanks for all your inputs. One thing still bothers me about the Cremona re my Cary amp. I remember the Stereophile test showing a cruel dip to about 2.8 ohms at 73 Hz with a 50 deg or so phase an .......
