I'm really good at snoozing, but that's simply confusing. A prolonged night's sleep is nearly an impossibility. Eleven days in the hospital, whew! 22, 1/2 pounds of fluid, no wonder I couldn't breath .......

90 lbs of fluid since last summer! I couldn't breathe too well and had to call 991 for a trip to the E-R. 9 days and 30+ lbs. of pee and I'm back home for Christmas. This CHF is scarier than I thought .......

Those must have been top sellers in Jazz...even little hicksville had most of them at a yard sale back in the late 80's. Great finds! The Jazz of the decade has some incredible Jazz...one of mu favori .......

unusual. Too light VTF, but usually it's just that the run-out groove was cut too far when the record was pressed. If you know the record, then simply lift the arm at the end of the song...but it's go .......

my Supex is broken. ALWAYS put the headshell in a protective storage case, not sitting on the shelf! The cantilever is gone...so I have to save my pennies and see if it can be fixed. It was such a gre .......

Yes, their pristine quality dOEs not last 1000 plays. I hsve too much music and that give me the position of playing a lot of music before retiring a record. But they do nothing and are of no beneefit .......

The beginning of an LP gets the most abuse. Auto tables "scraping" if they aren't adjusted properly. Sometimes just clumsy habits of lowering the arm too slowly, the grooves only partially "catching" .......

Damn, I love that arm. It's on my Kenwood KD500. I've hung a lot of very different cartridges on it and it always sounds great. When I got it it had a Supex cartridge on it...SDX1000. I have that cart .......

I think vinyl noise has a lot more to do with stylus shape than the arm it is attached to, whatever that may be. I think that cleaning an LP has a huge effect on noise and that most think 1 or two cle .......

I was given an arm and lift...an early TP16. No internal wiring. Do you think that maybe I scraped some insulation off a wire when I rewired the original TP16? I figure that I'd rewire the older TP16 .......

Such a pain in the butt, but so necessary! I usually clean a record with 3 steps. First step, with a couple different heavy-duty cleaners...whichever one I grab first (usually A-1). I don't let it dry .......

My wife bought an Ott light...I had no idea what it was, but when I saw it I new I had to borrow it quite often. A clamp to hold the work...I'd use it to hold an IC, for instance. magnifier Super-b .......

A lot of great sounding LPs were recorded digitally. If you have any ECM LPs there is a high chance they were recorded originally in digital. Any recording method can sound superb, IF and only if care .......

Comparing apples to oranges. It really isn't fair to compare a hand built MC with its exotic magnet and the structure of tht magnet; higher grade wire, finer connections inside and outside of the cart .......

As it is almost impossible to be sure you've removed it, but almost any "volatile" lubricant should work. Once again, you still want to make sure there is no residue but at least you needn't worry abo .......

have had it for a long time, even used it until you found out the "correct" azimuth put the head shell at an angle surpassing the Tower of Pisa. I'd love to hear my DV20xl again, that or the Supex SDX .......
