It might depend on the resolution of the system, but I hear a definite uptick in sound quality with 2.9 loaded into my Signature Series Rendu. Now if Sonore / Small Green Computer can just get 2.9 OS .......

Yes Lew, One would suspect that logic would seem to dictate the tube which measures lowest for noise would be the best choice for V1 & V2. But I have found that not all low noise measured tubes sound .......

If your main need is to match for Gm and Mu, being able to test 4 tubes at a time is a plus. You can also test 6SL7/6SN7's with the "8BD" adapter. But only 2 octal tubes at a time instead of 4 - 9 pin .......

You might be better off placing a Behringer SRC2496 ahead of the DEQ2496. The SRC will convert your digital & analog signals to 24/96. Then your DEQ can process and pass the 24/96 to your DAC. I think .......

I would look at the jacket of the CAT5 and look for "UTP" and "STP". UTP means unshielded twisted pair. STP means shielded twisted pair. If you have STP, check to see that the drain lead is connected .......

Its what is known as "self biasing". You'll make out better calling Cary. According to the folks at Cary, if you run JJ E34L's, you can get a bit more power. But you need to use a GZ37 rectifier. Hope .......

You can have Marchand install balanced in/outs on your XM9. I think that it is option 2B and lists at $250 for a 2 way. As for the slope that you are using, Marchand can supply you with any slope/freq .......
