No issues with 7.1, I use Plex as my streaming software. The only real difference is that Cube has an IR repeater built in so I was able to voice automate various components by using the Cube ::: TOPI .......

There has to be studs of some sort. If they do not line up with the screen, use a 1x6 board bolted to the studs and mount the screen to the 1x6 board. .......

Should be fine. I have a Parasound 5 channel amp driving 2 8 ohm Vandersteens and a 4 ohm M&K. I use two channels for each Vandersteen and one channel for the M&K. Been working for 15 years. ::: TOPIC .......

Have been using an M&K VX75 12" sun, 75 watt to fill in the bass for movies. Mains are Vandersteen 2Ce. For music I have not been using the sub too much, but some movies the LFE tracks can over drive .......

I use a similar amp, the HCA-855a and it's been doing great for over ten years. At 85x5 it's significantly more powerful then my Pioneer Elite receiver rated at 110 wpc. Deeper, better controlled bass .......

Look for a Parasound HCA series amp. 600/750/800/1000 If it has an "a" after the model, that means it has a power on trigger .......

I would recommend one of the older B&K processors. Great sound and build quality and a Ref 20 or 30 can be found cheap. You'll need the Ref 50 to handle DD 5.1 from BluRay (Or a Ref 30 upgraded to a R .......

I would disagree. I went from Bi-wire to bi amped. Now using a B&K 5x200, with each 2Ce getting 200x2 and the last channel to the center speaker. The added power really opened up the sound. I was worr .......

I very much enjoy my 2Ce's. They work well with less power, but more power really brings them to life. I have had mine bi-amped for a long time. First with 75x2 per speaker and now with 2x200 per spea .......

Many years ago I met an audio dealer that suggested that I upgrade speaker cables. I was using lamp cord. He offered my two sets, one from Straightwire that cost $99 and another set, I don't remember .......

Bi-amping my 2C sig made a big difference. Soundstage, bass response, over all sound was all improved. Although I al guessing it is more due to the increase in power more then having two runs of cable .......

I would say it is difficult to damage most speakers with too much power. I am up to 400w, 200x2 to a pair of Vandersteens rated at up to 160w. The more power, the more control the amps have to drive t .......

How about a pic? I had a pair of the TWS-510 towers and they did pretty well. Replaced them with 2Ce Signatures and the Vandersteens proved to be worlds better. .......

It's a lot easier to do this with a 100w amp driving to clipping then with a 400w amp. I've seem some massive speakers damaged by small amps, but driving a speakers rated to 200w with an amp deliverin .......

May not be of help, but I have seen several Parasound products stop working because solders crack off the PCB boards. Amp won't power on, or a channel won't work etc. Just hitting the joint with a sol .......

I would probably just replace the two front speakers with ones that sound that you like, with improved vocal and mids. I think a center speaker can be left out as long as you typically sit near the ce .......

One of the things I love about the Vandy line is that I can listen for hours with no fatigue. So many speakers are great sounding, but after a couple of hours make you want to turn down the volume or .......

I once had UPS crush a Parasound amp. I mean crushed. Driving over it with a truck would not have done this, perhaps a train was involved. But overall I can;t really say there are too many problems. J .......

The 2Ce uses bananas, the signature edition does not. Later model 2Ce speakers can be upgraded to Signature. Look for serial number 77000 and higher .......
