I don't know. If Magnepan did double the length, then logistics most probably dictate that they voice foil coiled both sides of the mylar diaphragm. A pricey choice which makes me highly dubious due .......

The sole crucial issue I have with wiring a big capacitor high-pass filter in series with a CC2 is how big capacitors corrupt treble. Iff you can bypass that DMW's capacitor to feed your CC2's tweet .......

Hmmm... the Magnepan recommended low-DCR 1.4mH additional choke installed in/across the DWM's attenuation jacks should translate to an effective ~4.6mH which lowers the low-pass filter from the stock .......

My brother being far more interested on that subject than I am, caught the problem. The EQ device whether it digitizes, phases, or has feedback will override & mask the "sound" of most decent amplif .......
