I have found that the wire gauge effects on sound is pretty system dependent. I have found 12 GA Deulund to produce excessive and out of proportion bass, 16 GA Jupiter works much better. .......

Yes, it is a series 1st order x-over and UHF terminals are for the super tweeter. HF driver is Altec compression 288 8 Ohm driver loaded into 1505 horn .......

Got That, If I understand it correctly, the higher the capacitor value, the lower x-over frequency is, so with you suggestion of 0.68mF that frequency going to move up to 29 KHz, according to VH Audio .......

Thank you, and I can echo your sentiment about Black Mamba being more suitable for the front end component, than power amps. It was clearly noticeable in my system. The other great PC there was PAD 25 .......

You are right, that W marking likely is not a polarity designator, but what threw me off, is the G and ground sign next to the ground connector. And, yes, there are no markings on the inside of the P- .......

My experience is similar in a sense that TacT in Bypass mode, and I'm using it as DD only with my own DAC, sounds very different from CD directly into my preamp, with TacT out of the picture. Also all .......

I'm using my Sony SACD 999ES as a transport for redbook playback either with Bryston SP 1.7 pre-pro or with Musical Fidelity A3.24 upsampling DAC. I should also mention, that I'm using TacT RCS 2.0AA .......

Hi! I decided to give Home Depot DIY speaker cables a try for my surrounds. I was planning to use Analysis Plus spades and bananas- that's the combination on my other cables. What would be your advice .......
